Gluten-Free Chocolate Donuts

These delicious gluten-free chocolate donuts are soft and tender. Top with tahini chocolate butter. The make the perfect mid-day indulgence.

I am so glad I had some spare time this weekend to do a little bit of baking. As you guys probably know I love donuts. Probably not so much as I love oats, which explains why so many of my recipes involve oats. But donuts are another one of my favorite desserts or breakfast. One because who doesn’t agree they are delicious! But secondly, they are super easy to prepare and you can bake a big batch ahead and enjoy as breakfast or snack during the week.

When it comes to Gluten-free donuts it can get a little bit tricky since sometimes they can be a little dense and not as fluffy as a regular donut.

But I think I was able to achieve a nice soft and tender consistency. I hope you enjoy them!

How to make gluten-free donuts

Preheat oven to 375 F. In a large bowl, add almond flour, gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cocoa powder and whisk to blend.
In a smaller bowl, add coconut oil, eggs and almond milk s and mix well. Transfer the wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix.
Scoop the dough into your donut pan and place in the oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
Allow cooling for at least 10 minutes before trying to remove.

To Make the Glaze

Whisk together Soom chocolate sweet tahini, almond milk, date syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Dip one side of the cooled donuts and enjoy!
